We had a such great stay in Kalyves very close to 2 beaches. We enjoy the lovely design and views over the bay. Food for breakfast was outstanding! It was great within walking distance of good selection of restaurants. An authentic restaurant offered Greek meals.

This property is huge with a beachy decor, perfect for a holiday. the rear plot terrace is quiet and lovely, the pool is shared among only a few guests, and the roof terrace offers stunning sunsets and sunbathing. As friends who enjoy going out at nights, we especially appreciated the facilities and amenities offered here.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with a beautiful and spacious room that had lots of thoughtful touches. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and an easy trip to Chania. The staff, especially Dimitra, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

The morning meal could have been better, it would have been nice to have breakfast options available at the hotel.

The village center and supermarket were within easy walking distance.

Although the beds were a bit short and the bathroom in our room was small, the overall comfort of the accommodation was good. It would have been better if the kitchenettes had a small electric kettle each.

I recently stayed at Dimitra Studios for a few nights while touring Crete. The rooms were light and comfortable, and the location in Kalyves was perfect for exploring the area. It also served as a great base for hiking the beautiful Sambria Canyon. There were plenty of good dining options within walking distance, and Dimitra, the host, was friendly and attentive. I loved the personal touches, like the homemade olive oil and fruit from her orchard. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with lovely artistic touches throughout. The bus to Chania conveniently stopped right outside. I highly recommend this hotel.
